LS Global focuses on improving business operations internationally through specialized outsourcing services. The company is hiring a Senior Accountant for one of its clients. This position is responsible for higher-level accounting work, financial reporting, month-end closing, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis to help ensure financial information is accurate and delivered on time. The role also involves taking full responsibility for designated accounting processes, contributing to process enhancements, and offering guidance to colleagues while encouraging consistency, precision, and best practices throughout the Finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage assigned parts of the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing cycle, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and related supporting records.
Develop and assess complex account reconciliations to confirm that balances are correct, properly documented, and resolved within the required timeframe.
Oversee designated balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying risks, variances, and areas where improvements can be made.
Compile schedules, reporting packages, and financial analyses that contribute to accurate internal and external financial reporting.
Deliver variance analysis and financial commentary that helps management better understand business results and major financial patterns.
Lead special analyses and ad hoc reporting needs by gathering, reviewing, and interpreting financial data and business trends.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to investigate accounting matters, strengthen processes, and maintain the reliability of financial information.
Recognize and propose improvements in processes, automation, and controls to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within Accounting.
Act as a mentor, knowledge resource, and example for accounting team members through knowledge sharing, guidance, and support for team development.
Assist with audit work, compliance obligations, special projects, and other strategic efforts while showing stronger leadership and influence across the Accounting team.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, while a Master's degree in Accounting or a related field is considered an advantage.
At least 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in accounting is required.
Excellent English communication skills at C1 level or above are required.
Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and financial analysis is necessary.
Experience in audit support and process improvement implementation is preferred.
Solid knowledge of GAAP and core accounting principles is required.
Advanced skills in account reconciliation, financial analysis, and Excel are expected.
Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools is required.
Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy are essential.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver work within deadlines is required.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities are expected.
Experience coaching team members and contributing to process improvements is preferred.
