LS Global focuses on improving business operations internationally through specialized outsourcing services. The company is hiring an Accounts Payable Lead for one of its clients. In this position, the selected candidate will supervise invoice handling, vendor account administration, payment-related activities, and improvements within AP processes. The role is centered on ensuring vendor transactions are processed correctly and on time, contributing to month-end accounting tasks, addressing invoice issues, and working closely with internal teams and suppliers to support smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Accounts Payable activities, including invoice handling, vendor uploads, payment records, and account reconciliations.
• Examine and address invoice-related discrepancies, such as unmatched invoices, differences between invoices and receipts, and payment concerns.
• Handle vendor questions and ensure their issues are resolved promptly through clear communication and coordination.
• Review recurring challenges in invoice processing and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts aimed at increasing AP effectiveness.
• Use ODBC tools, Excel, and reporting systems to assist accounting workflows, analysis, and operational reporting.
• Prepare and complete wire payment documentation in line with company policies and approval requirements.
• Support month-end closing tasks, including AP reconciliations, reporting, and account assessments.
• Keep vendor records accurate and make sure internal controls and accounting procedures are followed.
• Spot ways to simplify AP workflows and improve both accuracy and turnaround time.
• Offer direction and assistance to AP team members and help ensure processes are carried out consistently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, accounting operations, or a comparable finance setting.
• Solid understanding of invoice processing, vendor administration, reconciliations, and payment workflows.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher), in both written and spoken form.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize several tasks at once.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reporting).
• Experience with accounting systems, ERP platforms, ODBC tools, or financial reporting systems is considered an advantage.
