LS Global focuses on improving business operations globally through specialized outsourcing services. The company is hiring an International Compliance Specialist for one of its clients. This role supports international compliance activities by helping ensure alignment with relevant regulatory obligations, keeping compliance records up to date, coordinating with internal and external partners, and overseeing processes that enable the lawful movement of goods across the global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and assist compliance with relevant international regulations, internal policies, and procedures that affect the movement of goods within the client’s global supply chain.
• Keep required compliance records, certifications, documentation, and supporting files accurate, complete, and ready for audit review.
• Work closely with suppliers, logistics providers, freight forwarders, customs partners, and internal teams to support compliant international operations.
• Examine shipping, product, and vendor documents to spot possible compliance concerns, inconsistencies, or missing details, and help ensure prompt resolution.
• Assist with regulatory reporting obligations, audits, inquiries, and compliance assessments by preparing documentation and responding to requests for information.
• Follow regulatory developments and share relevant updates, risks, and process impacts with the appropriate business partners.
• Help create, document, and maintain standard operating procedures as well as compliance-related process controls.
• Perform routine compliance monitoring, risk assessments, and operational reviews to detect compliance risks, process gaps, control weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement and risk reduction.
• Detect, document, and escalate possible compliance risks and regulatory issues while collaborating with internal stakeholders on corrective actions and preventive controls.
• Offer guidance and training to internal business partners on international compliance requirements, documentation expectations, and established procedures.
• Support special projects, system implementations, process improvement efforts, and other assigned responsibilities.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Compliance, or a related area is preferred; equivalent education and experience will also be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience in international compliance, logistics, transportation, supply chain operations, regulatory compliance, or similar fields.
• Previous exposure to retail, distribution, manufacturing, consumer products, or eCommerce settings is preferred.
