LS Global provides outsourcing services that help improve business operations on a global scale. The company is hiring an HRIS Associate on behalf of one of its clients. This position is focused on administering, reporting on, and preserving the accuracy of Human Resources Information Systems, with particular emphasis on UKG. The role is responsible for keeping HR systems functional, supporting employee lifecycle activities, addressing system-related problems, and maintaining correct employee information. In cooperation with Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and business leadership, this role contributes to HR operations, workforce reporting, system enhancement, and ongoing process development while assisting employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
HRIS Administration & Configuration
- Contribute to the configuration and upkeep of UKG, including workflows, business rules, notifications, organizational frameworks, and security roles.
- Help with system improvements, upgrades, integrations, testing, and implementation work.
- Keep employee and organizational information updated within UKG.
- Carry out audits to verify system correctness, data integrity, and compliance.
- Maintain documentation related to the system, procedures, configurations, and support resources.
- Support user access management and UAT tasks.
HR Operations Support
- Assist with employee lifecycle actions such as hiring, transfers, promotions, salary changes, leave, and terminations.
- Review and handle HR transactions to confirm they are complete and accurate.
- Update and maintain organizational structures, roles, reporting lines, and employee records.
- Support onboarding activities, workforce administration, and employee data changes.
- Track workflows and help with HR operational processes and related documentation.
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare, update, and share both standard and ad hoc HR reports through UKG reporting tools.
- Build workforce reports and dashboards that support HR teams and business leaders.
- Examine workforce data connected to headcount, turnover, recruiting, attendance, learning, and organizational setup.
- Check reporting data and assist with compliance reporting, audits, and special assignments.
- Detect trends and highlight possibilities for process enhancement through data review.
HRIS Support & Issue Resolution
- Act as a main point of contact for employee and manager inquiries concerning UKG.
- Diagnose and solve system issues submitted through email and ticketing platforms.
- Investigate matters involving employee records, workflows, access, timekeeping, reporting, and system transactions.
- Record resolutions, oversee support requests, and escalate more complex issues when necessary.
- Recognize recurring problems and suggest improvements to systems or processes.
Records Management & Data Maintenance
- Help maintain electronic personnel files and employee records.
- Make sure employee information in UKG and related systems remains accurate, complete, and properly updated.
- Assist with record requests, audits, retention activities, and documentation tasks.
- Manage confidential employee information in line with company policies and privacy standards.
Data Management & Compliance
- Preserve accurate, secure, and confidential employee information across HR systems.
- Conduct data audits, validation checks, and correction tasks.
- Support compliance reporting, audits, and data governance activities.
- Follow established security and privacy requirements.
Government Reporting Support
- Help collect and validate workforce information needed for government reporting.
- Support EEO-1, VETS-4212, ACA, and other compliance-related reporting obligations.
- Review demographic and organizational employee data to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with audit requests and compliance documentation.
Continuous Improvement & Project Support
- Contribute to HR technology initiatives, UKG enhancements, and process improvement projects.
- Offer recommendations that improve system efficiency, reporting quality, and user experience.
- Work together with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business teams to address system requirements.
- Keep user guides, training documents, and process materials up to date.
- Stay current on UKG changes and support communication, training, and adoption of new features.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in HR, HRIS, reporting, analytics, customer service, or HR operations.
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher).
- Experience with HR systems such as UKG, Workday, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data management skills with attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis; experience with Power BI or reporting tools is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and support HR operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with employee records management, HR administration, ticketing systems, or workforce reporting is preferred.
- Experience supporting retail, distribution, or multi-location organizations is a plus.
