About the role

Location: Muharrem Fejza, Pristina (On-site)

Working Hours: 15:00 - 23:00 (local time)

LS Global EU delivers expert outsourcing services that improve business operations globally. The company is hiring on behalf of a U.S based client for an Accounts Payable Clerk II. The successful candidate will ensure unmatched payables are processed accurately and on time, examine invoice-to-receiver differences across EDI and non-EDI invoices, and settle discrepancies under established AP procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle the complete processing cycle for EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and non-EDI invoices, making sure every payable is entered correctly and without delay.
Lead the resolution of complex invoice issues, including unmatched payables and invoice-to-receiver variances. Investigate underlying causes and fully resolve them in line with procurement documentation and purchase orders.
Serve as an important contact for internal colleagues, ensuring professional and clear cross-departmental communication to investigate, resolve, and close payables-related questions promptly.
Coordinate vendor upload processing by recognizing and recording recurring invoice problems, while maintaining constructive vendor communication to introduce lasting process improvements and prevent future errors.
Use advanced Microsoft Excel features, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables, together with data connectivity tools (ODBC), to retrieve, analyze, and report payables information.
Provide active assistance to the finance team during month-end close activities, supporting the completeness, precision, and timely delivery of financial reports.
Regularly review existing AP processes to find ways to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
3-5 years’ experience working in an Accounts Payable environment.
Strong communication abilities, with English C1 proficiency.
Excellent ability to solve problems.
Previous experience with 3-way invoice matching.
Strong attention to detail and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
Advanced Excel knowledge, including Vlookup and pivot tables, etc., as well as ten-key by touch.
Purchase Order and AS400 skills are an advantage.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Ability to set priorities efficiently.
