Microsoft Azure & Windows Server Hybrid Infrastructure Expert (m/w/d)

Location: Fushe Kosove, Kosovo

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and enhance Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including subscriptions, resource groups, Virtual Machines, disks, networking, storage, Backup and Monitor.
• Administer Windows Server environments on premises, in Azure (IaaS), and within hybrid configurations.
• Handle hybrid services such as VPN / ExpressRoute, Microsoft Entra Connect, Azure Arc, Azure File Sync, Windows Admin Center, and hybrid update management.
• Oversee identity services covering Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and privileged access.
• Perform routine server administration, including patching, hardening, performance and capacity management, certificate handling, and issue resolution.
• Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions using Azure Backup, Recovery Services, and failover concepts.
• Use Azure Monitor, Update Manager, Defender for Cloud / Defender for Identity for monitoring activities.
• Develop automation through PowerShell; Bicep / Terraform are beneficial.
• Produce runbooks and assist German client IT teams with incidents, projects, and migrations.
• Take part in modernizing cloud-on-premises environments and transferring workloads to Azure.

Candidate Profile

• Several years of practical experience with Windows Server / Azure infrastructure, normally 4+ years.
• Advanced Windows Server expertise (2019 / 2022 / current), including AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Hyper-V or similar virtualization, and file services.
• Strong capabilities in Azure IaaS, covering VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage, Backup, Monitor, and RBAC.
• Demonstrable experience working across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
• Sound PowerShell knowledge.
• Excellent English proficiency is mandatory.
• German language skills are advantageous but not required.
• AZ-104 together with AZ-800/AZ-801 or AZ-802, or comparable experience combined with rapid certification.
• Additional assets include AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-700, Azure Arc, Azure File Sync, Entra Connect, and Intune/hybrid join.
