What will you be doing?
Babble is looking for a motivated and detail-focused Junior Product Manager (UC) to help develop and advance its UC, CX and Contact centre portfolio. The position is well suited to an individual at an early stage of a product management career who has a strong interest in communication technologies, including voice, video, messaging and contact centre platforms.
These products will be delivered through all Babble sales channels, after which the role will oversee and track them throughout their lifecycle. Success in this position depends on collaborating within virtual teams and influencing important stakeholders across the business.
You will partner closely with senior product managers, operations, sales teams and external partners to bring forward products that improve communication experiences for Babble customers. The position includes both internal and external interaction, and supporting the sales community is an essential aspect of the work.
The role also includes responsibility for vendor relationships. The successful candidate will play an important part in keeping strong alignment with vendors connected to the product area.
Accountabilities and Deliverables:
- Continuously help ensure the product and services portfolio is easy to buy and easy to sell across all relevant Business Units
- Provide support to the sales community
- Contribute to the development of cost models and pricing tools
- Coordinate virtual teams in delivering products
- Maintain engagement with stakeholders
- Report on the product portfolio
- Develop and oversee product roadmaps
- Help implement and collaborate on best practice for lifecycle management
- Contribute to business improvement efforts
- Identify and introduce new products or capabilities to be offered
- Assist senior product managers in preparing business plans that support training and investment in new capabilities
- Communicate with manufacturers regarding technical updates and support for the technologies in use
- Manage vendor activity, including monthly meetings, sales tracking and business plan development
- Travel between different Babble and vendor offices to support business operations effectively

- Complete product development successfully within defined timeframes
- Make sure the products support business targets for in-year growth
- Contribute to business transformation projects that improve efficiency within agreed timescales

Qualifications
- Some experience with product lifecycle management

- Understanding of Sales and Operational processes and how they interact with Project Delivery Teams
- Good project management skills, which are not essential but would be advantageous in this position
