Job Description
What are we looking for?
PECB is looking to add a highly qualified Business Development Manager for DACH and CEE to its team in Prishtina, Kosovo. The person in this role will support PECB Partners across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and the CEE region (Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Hungary), while also building new partnerships in these markets.

This opportunity is suited to a motivated professional who wants to help drive the expansion of one of the largest organizations in the certification industry.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee partner accounts across DACH and CEE.
- Monitor and carry out business development initiatives.
- Strengthen client relationships through different communication channels.
- Prepare presentation scripts tailored to specific market segments.
- Identify qualified leads using a variety of sources.
- Start and sustain communication with potential customers and referral sources.
- Design negotiation approaches while evaluating risks and opportunities.
- Conduct ongoing market analysis and pursue new business possibilities.
- Keep target account lists updated, prepare proposals, and track end-user feedback.
- Support continuity of work by informing management of actions that need attention.
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental objectives and mission-related outcomes.
- Maintain market insight and create and share materials that clarify company policies.
- Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Excellent command of English and German.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, International Relations, or a related field, or an associate’s degree combined with relevant experience.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, absorb new ideas quickly, think creatively, and follow through in a dynamic setting.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving environment.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present work from initial concept to final delivery.
- Strong business judgment, negotiation ability, a positive mindset, and the capacity to work independently.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; prior experience in a similar role is considered an advantage.
- Professional persistence, quick thinking, and the ability to make impactful introductions.
