Core duties and purpose of the position:

• To develop and implement the strategy for the relevant product category;
• To achieve optimal costs through effective negotiations with various suppliers, and to identify the most efficient logistics/supply routes;
• This role ensures that the company has the right product, at the right time, to drive sales and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities:

• To conduct market and competitor analysis for products within the category;
• To select and implement the strategy for the relevant category, in alignment with the company’s overall strategy;
• Product range management – to study the full product line and develop deep product knowledge; to source new products that contribute to company revenue; to select and onboard suppliers;
• Price control – to negotiate optimal product costs with suppliers, with the objective of ensuring the company offers the most competitive prices in the market;
• Merchandising – to oversee the placement of products on shelves;
• Promotional activities – to coordinate with suppliers to plan and organize promotional activities. Implement the plan in collaboration with the Marketing and Operations departments;
• Budget – prepare the business plan for the respective categories;
• Select and list suppliers;
• Assume responsibility for sales and expenses within the assigned category;
• Negotiate the most favorable contractual terms for the company; develop and implement business plans, and establish performance objectives for suppliers;
• Summarize all contractual terms and communicate them to the relevant departments—such as Finance (regarding payment terms and supplier bonuses), Logistics (regarding delivery timelines), and Marketing (regarding promotions);
• Build positive, sustainable relationships with all suppliers and serve as the primary point of contact for the company.
• Work with sales to ensure product availability, delivery, and resolve pricing or any other issues.
• Collaborate with Operations and Store Managers to update brands and store needs when they need to make decisions;
