Working Hours: 15:00 - 23:00 (local time)

LS Global focuses on improving business operations globally through specialized outsourcing services. The company is hiring on behalf of one of its clients for the Fixed Asset Manager role. This position oversees the full scope of fixed asset accounting, administers capitalization policies, and supports precise financial reporting. The role also acts as a central contact for fixed asset matters, guides financial direction in this area, and works closely with leadership to uphold effective internal controls and strong operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all fixed asset accounting activities, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, transfers, impairments, and retirements.
• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual fixed asset closing cycle, making sure transactions and reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
• Keep the Company's fixed asset subledger up to date and aligned with the general ledger.
• Assess capital expenditures to confirm they follow capitalization policies and receive the correct accounting treatment.
• Work together with business leaders and project managers to evaluate capital projects and define the proper asset classification and capitalization approach.
• Create, apply, and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls related to fixed assets.
• Ensure adherence to company accounting policies covering fixed assets and capital spending.
• Supervise depreciation calculations and reporting for multiple asset categories and locations.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting by supplying fixed asset and depreciation projections.
• Coordinate with Facilities, Store Development, Distribution Center Operations, and IT teams on asset purchases, disposals, relocations, and project completion.
• Produce and deliver fixed asset and capital expenditure reports for Finance leadership and other key stakeholders.
• Handle special projects and carry out additional assigned responsibilities.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• CPA designation is considered an advantage.
• Advanced accounting coursework or professional certifications are preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in fixed asset accounting is required.
• At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Background in a multi-location retail, distribution, manufacturing, or consumer products environment is preferred.
• Experience supporting financial audits and internal control compliance programs is required.
• Familiarity with large ERP systems and fixed asset software modules is preferred.
• Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles, capitalization policies, and depreciation methodologies is required.
• Solid knowledge of capital project accounting and construction-in-progress accounting is needed.
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving abilities are expected.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability is required, including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Experience with ERP platforms, fixed asset management systems, and financial reporting tools is needed.
• Ability to assess complex accounting transactions and apply the correct accounting treatment is required.
• Strong organizational and project management skills are necessary, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain effective internal controls is expected.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ability to present financial information to both accounting and non-accounting audiences.
• The candidate should be able to build collaborative relationships across Finance, Operations, Facilities, Information Technology, Supply Chain, and Store Development teams.
• Experience in improving processes, advancing automation initiatives, and increasing operational efficiency is preferred.
• A high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to financial integrity is required.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment driven by deadlines is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are required, including English C1 proficiency.
