About the Role
The company is seeking a German-speaking WordPress Developer to help manage, maintain, and further develop client websites. This is a practical junior to mid-level position that includes content management, basic administration, and plugin development or customization when needed.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and update website content within WordPress
- Perform basic WordPress administrative tasks, including updates, user management, backups, and configuration
- Create or tailor plugins when required
- Build and modify page templates and layouts
- Maintain current WordPress websites and keep them updated
- Support the performance, security, and responsiveness of websites
Requirements
- Fluency in German, both written and spoken
- Junior to mid-level background in WordPress
- Experience managing and editing content in WordPress
- Confidence with basic WordPress administration
- Some experience developing or customizing plugins in PHP
- Practical knowledge of HTML and CSS
