Role Overview:
The Sales Development Representative at Babble is responsible for new logo lead generation. This role involves finding and building relationships with new prospects and introducing Babble as a trusted adviser. The SDR will initiate contact with new businesses and assist in transitioning opportunities to account management or business development colleagues who will manage the opportunity through to closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation and outreach: identify and engage new accounts aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Execute targeted high-activity outreach campaigns across email, phone, and social channels, tailored to specific industries, use cases, or product launches.
  • Run focused campaigns for existing customers to uncover new opportunities.
  • Respond to marketing signals and customer intent data to drive cross-solution sales and reduce churn risk.
  • Build a strong revenue pipeline by securing meetings with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Conduct initial qualification calls to assess needs, pain points, and buying intent.
  • Work closely with Account Managers and New Business sellers to ensure seamless handover of qualified leads and maintain strong customer engagement.
  • Contribute to the team by taking initiative, experimenting with new approaches, and sharing successful strategies.

  • Achievement of Sales Qualified Leads

Skills Required:

  • A passion for technology and software sales; 1-2 years of customer-facing experience is preferred.
  • Superior communication skills (both written and oral) and comfortable presenting to senior-level executives.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with a sense of urgency and ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.
  • Interest in understanding current and emerging technology trends and their application to client business goals.
  • Ability to develop strong, long-lasting relationships (both internal and external).
  • Action oriented and resourceful to achieve results.
  • Collaborative and coachable mindset, eager to continuously improve skills and impact.

Additional Information:
The recruitment process will consist of a screening call. If you proceed, you will have an interview and possibly a follow-up interview and competency testing depending on the role requirements.
