The company is announcing an opening for Senior Associate / Manager – Investment & Strategy, giving the selected candidate a chance to join the team of its partners in Libya. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update comprehensive financial models used to evaluate investment opportunities, support business planning, and guide strategic decisions.
- Perform financial and investment assessments, including valuation, IRR, NPV, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
- Evaluate prospective investments by reviewing financial results, market opportunity, commercial assumptions, risks, and projected returns.
- Produce feasibility studies and business case evaluations for new investments, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Review the financial results of companies and projects, determine the main value drivers, and measure their influence on future performance.
- Carry out market and sector research to evaluate trends, competitive conditions, growth prospects, and investment risks.
- Combine financial findings with market and commercial considerations to develop practical business and strategic recommendations.
- Contribute to the design of business and investment strategies and provide analytical input for major strategic decisions.
- Test and question the financial and commercial assumptions that support investment proposals and business plans.
- Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, analyses, and recommendations for senior leadership and investment decision processes.
- Work closely with internal teams and external advisors during the evaluation and implementation of potential investments and strategic projects.
- Track the results of approved investments and projects against the original business case, financial forecasts, and expected returns.
- Provide senior management with clear and structured recommendations based on data related to investments, business growth, and long-term strategy.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally with progression toward Senior Associate / Manager level.
- CFA qualification or active progress toward CFA is strongly preferred; ACCA is also considered highly relevant.
- Strong financial modeling expertise, including integrated financial models, valuation, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, IRR, NPV, and investment return analysis.
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, valuation, and investment analysis.
- Ability to link financial results, market movements, and commercial assumptions with broader strategic development.
- Excellent analytical ability together with very strong numerical skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint and investment presentation skills, along with the ability to explain complex analyses clearly to senior management.
Preferred Backgrounds:
