HSEQ Manager

The company is currently seeking an HSEQ Manager for its partners' team in Libya. This position offers involvement in important international projects and provides valuable international exposure, creating a strong opportunity for career development.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply and uphold health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) policies and standards.
• Carry out workplace inspections together with safety audits.
• Conduct risk evaluations and detect possible hazards.
• Review incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases.
• Prepare and deliver safety training sessions and awareness initiatives.
• Oversee whether contractors and suppliers follow health and safety requirements.
• Provide support for the Permit to Work (PTW) system and other activities involving elevated risk.
• Make sure safety procedures are implemented for zoo visitors and animals.
• Take part in emergency readiness planning and evacuation exercises.
• Keep HSEQ documentation and compliance records accurate and up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
