The Challenge
Provide small business owners with a leading commerce-enablement solution designed for local, independent pizzerias.
The Position
This position manages a group of key account managers who use the full Slice platform to support shops that are essential to the business. You will contribute directly to your team’s development and results, as well as to the success of their shop partners and Slice. The preferred candidate has substantial leadership knowledge, can cultivate long-term client relationships, and has a demonstrated ability to resolve issues.
The Team
Account Management is central to the organization, advocating for Slice’s relationships with key accounts and delivering an outstanding experience for these customers. Team members are located across Macedonia and various North American sites. This position reports to the Head of Account Management.
This is a full-time, on-site role with working hours from 4pm to 12am, Monday-Friday.
Main Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Account Managers.
- Oversee a limited portfolio of Key Accounts.
- Address escalations, cancellations, and customer complaints.
- Make sure shop partners receive prompt, proactive, solution-focused assistance that surpasses expectations.
- Collaborate with functions across Slice so that the shop success checklist is implemented for every Key Account.
- Collect feedback while monitoring and assisting both internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the creation of a forward-looking, performance-oriented, Slice-first culture within Account Management.
The Ideal Profile

The role requires the following core capabilities:
- 4+ years of experience managing enterprise-level clients in a B2B or marketplace environment; restaurant or hospitality industry experience is highly preferred.
- A consistent record of strong individual results.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, high-value accounts with emphasis on retention and growth.
- Proven capacity to manage customer complaints, escalations, and high-risk circumstances calmly and clearly.
- Experience mentoring colleagues, leading projects, sharing best practices, and acting as a reliable contact for team support and direction.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex data sets and turn insights into practical strategies that improve performance metrics.
- Knowledge of the Slice platform, products, and customer base.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation abilities.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce, Slack, Excel, and other account management tools.
- A strategic approach combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A team-oriented attitude, enjoyment of collaborative work, and a positive mindset.
- Fluency in multiple languages is strongly advantageous.
