Business Analysis Specialist
Position purpose: Oversee the identification and analysis of business needs and requirements for the company’s strategic projects, translating them into specific IT solutions consistent with the broader IT strategy and objectives.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for every Business Project.
- Make sure business requirements are precisely specified and conform to the company’s architectural standards.
- Direct the structured definition and documentation of business requirements.
- Keep requirements documentation current as business demands change.
- Monitor, preserve, and rank requirements; evaluate requirement changes and obtain agreement on those changes.
- Coordinate requirement-collection workshops involving numerous stakeholders and guide them toward a final deliverable.
- Collaborate closely with Technology teams and business-process owners to establish detailed specifications for new solutions or amendments.
- Verify that solutions follow IT architecture principles and satisfy business-process needs.
- Partner with the Testing team in preparing the user acceptance testing file based on business requirements.
- When needed, provide guidance to personnel responsible for end-user training.
- Recognize and propose enhancements to business/system analysis and to clarifying solution development-lifecycle requirements.
- Contribute to the project-management team by clarifying key business requirements and the solutions to be implemented.
- Carry out additional tasks assigned by the supervisor in accordance with job requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: A University Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Management Information System, Computer Science or Telecommunication, Economics, Business Management, or a comparable discipline.
- Experience and qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in this area.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of business-process modelling methods.
- Solid proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Familiarity with SAP/BOSS modules and SAP/BOSS Quality Assurance Systems.
- Effective management abilities involving people, time, and projects, together with communication skills, reliability, and confidence.
- Capacity to analyze data, identify insights, and assist decision-making.
- Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
