The Company
ISA Consulting operates in the IT sector, delivering comprehensive services in Digital Transformation, Digital Consulting, and Business Process Services across a wide range of technology stacks. The company serves clients from various industries and business segments, supported by teams that include Full Stack Developers, Data Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, Quality Analysts, and Strategists working across different time zones.
Role Summary
ISA Consulting is seeking a Team Lead to guide and strengthen its expanding group of product Business Analysts. In an eDiscovery and legal technology setting, this role serves as the local, same-time-zone point of contact who keeps the team aligned on current priorities, distributes work evenly, and makes sure expectations defined by Product Managers are delivered within scope and on schedule. The position calls for someone who brings both the credibility of a strong hands-on contributor and the leadership awareness needed to support a team effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make sure the expectations set by Product Managers for Associate Business Analysts are clearly understood and carried out on time and within the agreed scope.
- Monitor team and product metrics and KPIs by establishing what should be measured, overseeing delivery, quality, and capacity indicators, and sharing progress and trend updates with Product Managers and leadership.
- Distribute work across the team in a balanced way by tracking who is fully occupied and who has available capacity, and by helping shift tasks when needed.
- Serve as the escalation point when stakeholders are not aligned on scope or deadlines, and support the process of bringing expectations back into alignment.
- Support the growth of junior team members by mentoring them in professional work habits, communication, and accountability.
Target Outcomes:
- Team members remain consistently informed about what they are working on and understand the purpose and priority of their tasks.
- Outputs from the Business Analyst team satisfy Product Manager expectations within the planned timeline and agreed scope.
- Work allocation is clearly balanced, and signs of overuse or underuse of capacity are identified early.
- Junior team members benefit from a trustworthy example and a strong standard of performance to follow.
- Effective practices such as backlog management, ownership, and timely communication become embedded across the team.
- Well-defined metrics and KPIs are maintained and reported on regularly, giving leadership clear insight into delivery, quality, and capacity.
Education and Experience:
- Background in eDiscovery, legal technology, or another related software field.
- Familiarity with product and development tracking platforms such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, and ProductBoard.
- Confidence in defining and monitoring metrics and KPIs, along with experience using reporting and data visualisation tools such as MS Excel, Power BI, and Pendo.
- Prior experience mentoring or coaching colleagues with less experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area such as Business, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
