JOIN OUR TEAM | COMPLIANCE & LEGAL SPECIALIST

Our team is seeking a skilled and driven Compliance & Legal Specialist.

The selected professional should hold at least 5 years of pertinent experience, possess excellent current knowledge of Albanian legislation and regulatory obligations, and bring experience or a solid professional foundation in compliance, corporate law, and commercial law.

This position blends legal work with a strong emphasis on regulatory adherence, internal rules and processes, and management of legal risks.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities

• Assist with creating, putting into practice, and continuously enhancing the Company's compliance framework, internal policies, and procedures.
• Oversee adherence to relevant Albanian laws, regulatory obligations, and internal rules.
• Track legal and regulatory changes, evaluate how they may affect the Company's operations, and help introduce required amendments.
• Detect and evaluate legal and compliance exposure, then propose suitable prevention and mitigation actions.
• Prepare, examine, and negotiate commercial agreements, contracts, and other legal documents in Albanian and English.
• Offer legal assistance on corporate and commercial-law issues, including contractual dealings with domestic and international partners.
• Contribute to drafting, reviewing, and applying internal policies, procedures, guidelines, and other compliance materials.
• Assist with matters concerning data protection and privacy, labour law, licensing and regulatory obligations, and real estate when relevant.
• Help conduct internal compliance assessments and follow up on identified matters and corrective measures.
• Provide legal support for disputes, claims, and other proceedings involving the Company.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Law.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional background in legal and/or compliance roles, ideally in a corporate setting, law firm, or regulated business.
• Excellent understanding of Albanian law and the regulatory environment. Demonstrated experience with compliance and regulatory issues, commercial contracts, and corporate law.
• Strong abilities in drafting, analysis, and negotiation.
• Capacity to recognise legal and compliance risks and deliver clear, practical, business-focused solutions.
• Knowledge of data protection and privacy, employment law, licensing and regulatory matters, and real estate is an advantage.
• Very strong written and spoken English, including the capability to draft and negotiate legal documents in English.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving capabilities, combined with high professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
