Overview

You will collaborate with financial due diligence and valuation specialists on projects spanning multiple sectors. Your work will involve identifying the main drivers of value, testing assumptions about future performance, uncovering and advising on potential deal breakers and opportunities, and coordinating with other EY service teams to provide clients with integrated support before, throughout and after a transaction.

Responsibilities

• Carry out financial due diligence and assess the operating results of businesses being bought or sold (the Target), examining financial statements, accounting records, key agreements and management information, as well as conducting interviews.
• Produce or assess pro forma financial information and undertake detailed financial analysis.
• Determine where purchase price adjustments may be needed and recommend approaches to significant financial and business matters.
• Undertake financial modelling assignments supporting strategic planning, capital allocation, transactions, investment appraisal, financial planning and reporting.
• Help clients resolve complex business problems through modelling solutions, data analytics and analysis.
• Support the preparation of client deliverables in Albanian and English, including reports, data books and other transaction documents.
• Receive timely, regular feedback and information about opportunities for learning and development.
• Build and strengthen relationships both internally and externally, contribute to a positive learning culture, and coach and advise junior colleagues to support their development.
• Contribute effectively within the team by sharing responsibilities, supporting colleagues, maintaining communication and keeping senior team members informed of progress.

Qualifications

• Hold a university degree in finance and/or Corporate Finance, Business administration, Accounting, and Economics.
• Be proficient in Excel and other MS office applications.
• Demonstrate sound accounting knowledge of IFRS.
• Bring excellent analytical abilities, close attention to detail and confidence in turning complex data into meaningful insights.
• Have an advanced command of English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
• Show strong initiative, a high level of energy and an ability to adapt to unfamiliar challenges and ideas.
