Description
In the Junior IT Auditor role, you will contribute as part of a team to engagements that evaluate diverse IT environments against Information Security standards, EY methodology, and recognised leading practices.
Key Responsibilities
Use EY’s core principles, methods, and techniques in assigned work.
Review business, financial, and IT systems together with the IT infrastructure that supports them.
Develop an understanding of IT-environment elements—such as databases, operating systems, and network software—that underpin IT applications, while identifying risks and improvement opportunities.
Demonstrate knowledge of SAP security concepts.
Help examine clients’ business processes and procedures across different industries.
Assist with testing application and configuration controls.
Contribute to data analytics work.
Report work progress and any issues to the team promptly.
Detect possible vulnerabilities, risks, and weaknesses in IT Systems through design and implementation reviews.
Maintain audit documentation, including narratives, process flows, risk assessments, programs, and workpapers.
Remain highly motivated and take initiative in an evolving environment.
Work continuously with the internal audit team so that everyone remains informed about new technologies or frameworks.
Qualifications
Hold a university education.
Have up to 1 year of relevant professional experience in Information Systems, including Computer Science; Data Science and Business Analytics; Information Systems in Economics; Information Security; Information Technology; Business Process Management; Computer Engineering; Software Engineering; or Economic Informatics.
Be interested in pursuing relevant professional certifications, including CISA, CISM and/or CISSP.

Have excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German is considered an advantage.
