EY Albania is seeking Experienced Audit Assistants for its Tirana office, offering an opportunity to advance in Audit.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technical knowledge to audit engagements.
• Help carry out the work plans.
• Collaborate effectively within the team, take shared ownership, and assist senior assistant auditors and/or managers on engagements.
• Provide senior auditors and managers with regular updates on project progress.
• Help organize meetings with key client teams and take part in them.
• Support the drafting of reports and plans for clients and third parties.
• Use Ernst & Young's global audit methodology across different client engagements.
• Work within the budgets assigned to engagements.
• Carry out data-analysis procedures for at least one client engagement.
• Understand and adhere to work policies and procedures.
• Conduct substantive client procedures or internal-control procedures, including testing those controls for effectiveness.
• Compile findings and support audit-strategy discussions during work-planning team meetings.
• Carry out audit work at different locations as part of the audit team, since not every client is located in Tirana.
• Archive the engagement documentation.
• Establish and sustain effective professional relationships with client staff.
• Foster strong internal connections within Ernst and Young Audit and other departments.
• Continuously strengthen technical expertise.
• Continuously improve personal capabilities and skills.
• Build knowledge of risk-management and quality-management policies.

Qualifications

• A maximum of three years of relevant professional experience and knowledge of IFRS.
• Outstanding communication abilities.
• Excellent computer proficiency.
• A high level of Albanian and English.
• Relevant experience in the field.
• Ability to operate in a multifunctional, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Strong organizational abilities.
