About Us
uhoh.com is a managed services provider that is scaling fast. Growing companies hand us their technology, from systems and security to integrations and the automation that keeps them moving, so they can get on with their own work. We don't do egos, and we don't do fluff.
The Role
This role combines client relationship ownership with level 1 support. You'll be the main point of contact for clients and one of the people actually fixing things.
Most IT providers make you pick between a friendly account manager who "totally gets your business" but can't reset a password, and a tech who fixes everything but communicates exclusively in ticket numbers. Tradeoffs aren't our thing, so this role is different.
What You'll Do
This is a high-ownership role where you will:
- Manage multiple accounts (around 10)
- Turn vague requests like "our tools are a mess" into a clear plan with actual next steps
- Be the first human a client talks to when something breaks
- Handle the everyday Level 1 stuff fast: password resets, 2FA lockouts, access problems, and connectivity issues before a call
- Get to know each client's business well enough to know what "urgent" actually means to them
- Run regular check-ins with clients to review what's been fixed, what's in progress, and what's coming next
- Keep clients in the loop without making them chase you for updates
- Handle frustrated clients calmly, even when the problem is on fire and it's 8:59 a.m.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues across Windows and macOS, and know when to loop in the right internal people when something's beyond Level 1, and own the follow-through until it's resolved
- Keep tickets and project work moving side by side without dropping either one
What You Bring
- Technical Versatility: Proven experience in level 1 IT support or systems administration within a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Problem-Solving DNA: You find root causes instead of just fixing surface issues
- Proactivity: Always thinking about the needs of a client before they are
- Strong Communication: You ensure clarity with internal teams and clients
- Professional level of English (written and spoken)
- Great Attitude: Friendly, respectful, and able to work effectively within a team
- Detail-Oriented, Organized, and Resourceful: You find answers when needed and make sure things are running smoothly
- Confidence: You're comfortable leading a client call and owning the answer, even when the answer is "I'll find out."
- Excellent Time Management: You act quickly and effectively and have the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience with AI: You're comfortable using AI tools (Claude, specifically) as part of your daily workflow as a way to move faster and think better
You'll Fit Right in if You
- Have at least Level 1 IT support experience (password resets, access issues, and device setup should all feel familiar)
- Genuinely enjoy troubleshooting, the weirder the problem the better
- Think in systems rather than isolated fixes
- Can explain tech to a founder without making them feel dumb
The Vibe
- No Ego: We care about the best solution, not who came up with it
- High Velocity: We are growing rapidly, so you should be comfortable with change and ready to build systems that scale with the client base
- Direct Communication: We value clarity and brevity
