We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Solutions Service Desk Officer to join our Head Office team.

The successful candidate will provide first-line support for core business and financial applications, ensuring smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and high levels of user satisfaction. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced banking environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to users regarding business solutions and applications
• Handle and resolve service desk requests, incidents, and inquiries via phone, email, and chat
• Document and track issues using ticketing systems (e.g., Jira), ensuring timely resolution or escalation
• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure effective support and alignment with organizational goals
• Maintain and update knowledge base content to assist end users and improve self-service capabilities
• Contribute to continuous improvement of service desk processes and practices
• Assist in IT projects and business initiatives by providing input on support readiness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or a related field
• Experience in a service desk or IT support role (1–2 years preferred)
• Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) frameworks and best practices
• Experience with ticketing platforms such as Jira or similar tools
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• ITIL certification is an advantage
• Fluency in English (additional languages are considered an asset)
