Through a combination of expertise in building systems, automation, contemporary data modeling, and AI-powered insights, the company converts complex building information into practical solutions that enhance energy efficiency, lower emissions, and improve overall building performance. They are seeking an experienced Building Systems Engineer who can connect technical knowledge, customer success, and product development by helping clients get the most value from smart building solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical customer success by increasing use of the platform, supporting customer retention, and creating measurable business results through proactive account management, technical know-how, and strategic direction.
- Use strong expertise in HVAC, BMS, and building control systems to assess performance, detect opportunities for optimization, and measure energy and financial savings.
- Work closely with the Product and Engineering teams to enhance building data integrations, processing flows, quality tools, and AI-powered platform features.
- Convert advanced technical findings into clear business benefits for customers, executives, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a reliable technical advisor by building strong client relationships and contributing to innovation in smart building performance and energy efficiency.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in energy consulting, building systems engineering, or another related technical area.
- Solid expertise in HVAC and building control systems, including chillers, boilers, and BMS, together with the ability to evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ability to model energy-efficiency initiatives, calculate savings, and connect technical enhancements to measurable financial results.
- Strong communication abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts as clear business value for both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to earn trust, manage customer relationships, and champion customer success and long-term value.
- Enthusiasm for SaaS, interest in AI-driven solutions, a strong sense of ownership, and a proactive mindset for solving complex technical problems.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
- Experience in SaaS customer success, familiarity with SkySpark, or exposure to AI/agentic AI tools will be considered an advantage.
