The company seeks a Data Analyst to assist with continuing reporting, analytics, and dashboard requirements.
This is a fully remote role, with working hours from 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain SQL queries for retrieving, merging, and analyzing information from relational databases.
Apply Python, especially Pandas, to clean, transform, validate, and examine datasets.
Establish and support automated reporting workflows that minimize manual effort.
Create, maintain, and refresh business dashboards and reporting visualizations.
Review reports and dashboards for data-quality concerns and investigate inconsistencies.
Partner with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and convert business questions into data analyses.
Keep reporting logic, queries, and documentation well structured and easy to understand.
Contribute to enhancements of current reporting procedures, dashboards, and data workflows.
Undertake other tasks and responsibilities reasonably connected to the position when needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field; a graduate degree in Data Science or a Quantitative field is an advantage.
1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
Advanced SQL capability, including joins, aggregations, subqueries, and CTEs.
Experience applying Python to data analysis and manipulation.
Solid practical knowledge of Pandas.
Experience with Excel and structured reporting.
Familiarity with Amazon QuickSight or another BI/dashboarding platform is beneficial.
An analytical approach combined with business understanding.
Strong mathematical ability, such as statistics and algebra.
C1 Proficiency in English.
