The company seeks a Jr. Python Software Engineer- Backend to collaborate with developers, data analysts, and underwriters. The role supports improvements to automated underwriting by using real-time information and deploying internal services that provide proprietary credit-risk evaluations for current and prospective customers.
The position mainly uses Python/Postgres and involves substantial work with internal and external APIs. These tools will be used to retrieve, retain, and assess information from sources including bank accounts, background checks, and other publicly accessible data, while making it available to other company departments through in-house REST services.
This is a fully remote role with a Monday-to-Friday schedule from 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
