About the Position
The company seeks a Junior Onboarding and Relationship Associate to assist with onboarding involving payment service providers, acquirers, electronic money institutions, and banking partners. The role includes preparing complete applications, coordinating requirements, advancing cases, and developing effective relationships across different jurisdictions and merchant types.

Responsibilities
Key Activities
Onboarding Coordination
- Assist throughout the full onboarding cycle with PSPs, acquirers, EMIs, and banking partners.
- Gather, structure, and check KYB and KYC documentation, application forms, and supplementary materials to ensure they are complete.
- Manage follow-ups with internal teams, merchants, clients, and partners, from the first request until approval and go-live.
- Clearly communicate onboarding conditions and the next operational steps to merchants and internal stakeholders.
Partner and Relationship Support
- Ensure communication with payment and banking partners remains timely and professional.
- Help investigate and assess providers based on sector suitability, location, onboarding viability, settlement processes, and commercial conditions.
- Document feedback from partners and help determine whether an application has been delayed, rejected, or needs further details.
- Help establish durable relationships by completing requests correctly and within the required timeframe.
Process and Tracking
- Maintain precise, updated CRM entries and internal tracking tools that are straightforward for the team to use.
- Track pending requirements, due dates, and follow-up actions across several onboarding cases.
- Identify risks, missing details, and process obstacles early, while proposing practical process enhancements.
- Adhere to internal compliance processes and refer complex or higher-risk matters to senior colleagues.
Qualifications
Your Profile
- Up to 2 years of applicable experience in fintech, payments, banking, operations, compliance, consulting, or client service; graduates with relevant internships are also welcome.
- Foundational knowledge of KYB and KYC, payment flows, acquiring, and SEPA or SWIFT, together with an interest in expanding this knowledge.
- Strong precision and the ability to balance correctness with making prompt progress.
- Effective written and spoken English, along with confidence when engaging international clients and partners.
- Solid organizational ability and capacity to handle multiple tasks and follow-ups without overlooking important details.
- A proactive, inquisitive, solution-focused mindset, including readiness to raise questions and escalate matters when appropriate.
- Dependability and accountability, ensuring commitments are completed and stakeholders remain updated.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous exposure to a PSP, acquirer, EMI, bank, payment gateway, or alternative payment method provider.
- Knowledge of AML and KYC frameworks, governance arrangements, company formation processes, or corporate ownership documentation.
- Experience assisting merchants operating in regulated or high-risk sectors.
- Familiarity with cross-border payments, several jurisdictions, or multi-entity business models.
