Payroll Assistant

The Opportunity

The company is seeking a Payroll Assistant with a strong eye for detail to become part of its expanding team in Kosovo.

This position suits someone who is comfortable working with numbers, pays close attention to detail, and wants to build a career in payroll and administration. In collaboration with the Payroll Lead, the successful candidate will contribute to the accurate and efficient handling of payroll data in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Add and onboard new employees into payroll and HR systems.
• Keep employee payroll records up to date and process any staff changes.
• Fill in payroll timesheet trackers through workforce management and payroll systems.
• Check and confirm timesheets, attendance records, and management approvals.
• Coordinate with managers to address timesheet inconsistencies and missing details.
• Arrange and securely keep payroll records and related documentation.
• Prepare and share daily On-Call shift reports.
• Produce payroll payment extracts and upload payroll information for processing.
• Assist with payroll activities, including overtime, deductions, holiday pay, and statutory payments.
• Handle payroll-related questions promptly and professionally.
• Help with payroll reconciliations, reporting, and audit-related needs.
• Follow company policies and payroll procedures to maintain compliance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in payroll or payroll administration is considered an advantage.
• Familiarity with payroll systems, HR systems, and Staffology is beneficial.
• High level of accuracy and careful attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of payroll procedures and timesheet administration.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines while managing several tasks at once.
• Ability to manage confidential information in a professional manner.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
