The Opportunity
The company is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to become part of its growing team in Kosovo.
This position suits a candidate with strong backend expertise who can confidently take responsibility for backend systems and server infrastructure supporting the company’s web and mobile applications.
The role covers the complete backend stack, including API creation, database administration, deployment workflows, domain oversight, and VPS upkeep. The position is entirely focused on backend work and does not involve front-end development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and support APIs built with .NET 10 and C#.
- Oversee and maintain PostgreSQL databases through pgAdmin 4.
- Handle remote database access, backup processes, routine upkeep, and performance optimisation.
- Administer application deployments and server infrastructure hosted on DigitalOcean Droplets (VPS).
- Carry out Linux server management and maintenance using SSH / PuTTY.
- Support and refine CI/CD workflows with GitHub Actions.
- Oversee domains, subdomains, and DNS settings via 123Reg.
- Track backend services and server environments to maintain dependable operation and strong performance.
- Identify and fix issues related to backend systems, databases, deployments, and servers.
- Keep technical documentation for backend systems and infrastructure clear, complete, and accurate.
Requirements
- Proven professional background in .NET, C#, and API development.
- Strong knowledge of backend application design and architecture.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases and pgAdmin 4.
- Experience with remote database access, backups, maintenance, and performance management.
- Confidence in Linux server administration through SSH.
- Experience overseeing and maintaining VPS/server environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and GitHub Actions.
- Good understanding of DNS, domain management, and subdomain configuration.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
- Capacity to take full responsibility for backend systems and work independently.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
