Product Manager – Health Tech Startup
Location: Muharrem Fejza - Prishtina; Remote/Hybrid arrangement
Who we are
L.P. Recruitment provides international recruitment services to businesses throughout Europe and the US, particularly those operating in technology and high-growth sectors.
We are recruiting a Product Manager for a Belgian startup creating a consumer health app and community platform. With development still at an early stage, the position offers a central part in defining the product from its beginnings.
The role
The Product Manager will guide the product's development through initial validation, beta testing and launch.
This position requires substantial hands-on involvement. Working alongside the founders and development team, you will engage directly with prospective users, convert their feedback into product choices and requirements, and take responsibility for bringing the product to real users.
The ideal candidate has navigated this journey previously and recognises that developing an early-stage B2C product extends beyond coordinating development. It also requires understanding users, validating assumptions, encouraging engagement and establishing product-market fit.
The background we seek
- At least 2 - 5 years of experience in Product Management.
- Preferably, a background in developing B2C apps, platforms or online communities.
- Previous responsibility for taking a product from its initial concept / product discovery through user interviews, MVP, beta and launch.
- The ability to carry out product-market-fit interviews and translate user insights into well-defined product decisions.
- Experience collaborating closely with designers and developers, together with the ability to produce clear product requirements.
- An understanding of onboarding, engagement and retention, including how to attract the first users to a new app or platform.
- The ability to look beyond individual features and help shape a strategy for developing an engaged user base and community.
- Ease working within an early-stage business where priorities may shift rapidly.
- An independent approach and a willingness to take responsibility without relying on detailed direction.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
A background in health tech, social/community products, AI-enabled products or marketplaces would be advantageous, though it is not essential.
What you can expect
- A distinctive opportunity to contribute to creating a new product from scratch.
- Substantial responsibility for the product and the direction of its development.
- Direct collaboration with the founders and development team.
- Involvement in moving a product through early validation, beta and launch, with the potential for large-scale growth.
- A remote/hybrid arrangement that does not require daily attendance at the office, while requiring availability for regular in-office coordination with the team.
- A working day running from 09:00 to 17:00.
- A competitive compensation package.
- Considerable scope to develop alongside the startup and assume wider responsibilities as the business grows.
This opportunity suits someone seeking more than the management of an established product: it offers the chance to create something new from the outset, with the potential to become extraordinary.
Required documents
- A letter of motivation.
- A resume.
