Treasury Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day payment activities, including supplier payments, payroll, and transfers between affiliated companies.
• Track and reconcile bank balances across several accounts to maintain adequate liquidity.
• Develop weekly and monthly cash flow projections and carry out variance analysis.
• Maintain relationships with banks and assist with opening or closing bank accounts when needed.
• Make sure payment runs and treasury reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Work closely with the Accounts Payable and Accounting teams to facilitate the month-end closing process.
• Provide support in managing foreign currency exchange and transactions involving multiple currencies.
• Help ensure adherence to internal controls and treasury-related procedures.
• Recognize possibilities for automation and improvements within treasury processes.
• Contribute to ad hoc treasury and finance projects whenever required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Accounting, or a comparable position.
• Good command of accounting software’s and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax laws.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational abilities, and skill in prioritizing tasks.
• Very good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
