We’re looking for a Data Engineer – Snowflake to join us under a B2B cooperation model, with strong hands-on experience in building modern data platforms and scalable data pipelines. This role involves working with Snowflake, SQL, Python, and dbt, helping transform, optimize, and govern data in a cloud-based environment while supporting analytics and AI initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Build automated extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) pipelines from multiple sources into Snowflake.
- Optimize slow queries, configure virtual warehouses, manage micro-partitions, and control platform costs.
- Set up and maintain RBAC, data governance frameworks, masking policies, and secure data sharing.
- Design and implement scalable data models, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Leverage Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpark to automate and improve data processing workflows.
- Develop transformation frameworks and analytics-ready datasets using dbt.
- Work with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect to manage and monitor data pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to provide clean, reliable, and ready-to-use data.
- Ensure data quality, scalability, security, and performance across the Snowflake platform.
- Contribute to best practices, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- At least 2–3 years of hands-on experience working with Snowflake.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Strong experience with data modelling, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpark.
- Experience with dbt.
- Experience using workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
- Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English communication skills.
