Who we are looking for

The IT Demand Manager is the first point of contact for our businesses (internal customers) when planning new IT initiatives.

The main role is to accompany the customer from the submission of the project idea to the development of the business case to the approval and prioritization of the overall IT project portfolio.

• Several years of professional experience in IT demand-/ project management.
• Excellent methodological skills.
• Strong moderation, communication, and presentation skills at all levels.
• Hands-on mentality, conflict resolution skills, conceptual and analytical strength as well as careful working methods, high level of motivation, personal responsibility, and resilience.
• Degree in business informatics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Very good language skills in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of German will be as an asset.

Your future role

• Closely working with business teams, helping them with technical issues and with other routine tasks; 
• Creating and updating architectural design documentation and diagrams; 
• Creating and updating cost calculations for different projects; 
• Assisting in designing particular IT systems to be implemented according to the organization’s standards and roadmap. E.g.: assessing server, storage and infrastructure sizing; analyzing hardware sizing to meet application requirements; 
• Cooperating with IT teams in dealing with complex IT infrastructure tasks and non-routine support issues; 
• Collaborate with vendors in technical support cases; 
• Project coordination with support of Senior Lead Solution Architect, contact with business clients; 
• Provide the business with in-depth cloud knowledge to assist with hosting Azure/AWS services based applications.
