We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team and play a key role in building and scaling our core microservices platform.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design & Scale: Build resilient, high-performance microservices using modern Java.
- Architecture: Drive system design, API development, and data integration.
- Engineering Culture: Maintain high code quality through TDD, code reviews, and continuous refactoring.
- Mentorship: Share knowledge and guide mid/junior developers in software best practices.
- Cloud Integration: Work alongside our DevOps team to deploy applications in cloud environments.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development.
- Deep mastery of Java 17+ and the Spring Ecosystem (Spring Boot, Data, Security).
- Solid background in Microservices, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ).
- Experience with Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis, MongoDB) databases.
- Proficiency in testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito) and containerization (Docker).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) for app deployment.
- Language: Fluency in Italian (C1/C2) is required for internal communication, alongside professional English proficiency.
Bonus points: CI/CD experience, Kubernetes, or Agile/Scrum background.
