About the position

Omzo seeks a part-time Data & Financial Analytics Specialist to contribute to its business operations in the US market. The selected candidate will structure data, create dashboards, assess profitability, and prepare financial projections to support stronger decision-making.

This position blends practical data analysis with business and financial expertise. The ideal candidate can translate complex information into actionable, easy-to-understand recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, cleanse, and integrate data from sales, customer, operational, and financial platforms.
• Establish and monitor core indicators, including revenue, costs, margins, customer acquisition, and retention.
• Develop and maintain dashboards as well as automated reporting.
• Review profitability by product, service, customer, and project.
• Produce revenue, expense, and cash-flow projections using clearly stated assumptions and scenarios.
• Spot ways to increase revenue while lowering costs.
• Assess pricing, marketing expenditure, and business initiatives.
• Use statistical methods and predictive models to address real-world business issues.
• Present conclusions and recommendations in a clear manner.
• Ensure data quality, maintain documentation, and manage suitable access to sensitive information.

Candidate profile

• Background in data analytics, business intelligence, financial analytics, or a comparable position.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel or Google Sheets.
• Practical knowledge of Python for data cleansing, analysis, and automation.
• Experience using dashboard solutions such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
• Knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Ability to verify data and communicate assumptions and uncertainty.
• Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory. Candidates must be at ease discussing complex matters, presenting results, and preparing reports in English.
• Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work autonomously.

Preferred qualifications

The following qualifications are beneficial but not mandatory:

• Experience supporting US businesses or assessing the US market.
• Healthcare-sector experience, especially involving data analysis, finance, or operations.
• Hands-on use of AI tools for data analysis, financial modeling, coding, research, and reporting. Candidates should be able to use these tools effectively, validate their results, and safeguard confidential business data.
• Experience in a startup or an expanding business.
• Familiarity with accounting software, CRMs, and payment platforms.
• Experience with experimentation, customer segmentation, or forecasting models.
• Experience developing automated data pipelines.
