The company is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to organize and oversee maintenance and repairs for different types of plant equipment. The role aims to optimize equipment availability through effective, forward-looking preventive-maintenance programs while ensuring that maintenance work meets all safety, environmental, policy, and regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities:
Carry out inspections, repairs, and preventive-maintenance activities on plant equipment accurately and within the required timeframe, in line with Health and Safety regulations.
Monitor mechanical-installation performance and coordinate weekly preventive maintenance with the Methods and Production departments to support continuous operations, while overseeing machinery and installation upgrades.
Keep machinery-maintenance documentation current and provide feedback to the Methods Department.
Build the capabilities and engagement of team members or colleagues through development, training, and motivation, supporting efficiency, productivity, and satisfaction.
Work with the supervisor on selecting contractor-delivered work, ensuring tasks are completed more efficiently and cost-effectively.
Maintain a clean, safe work area; uphold company operating standards along with safety and development programs; and plan, coordinate, and ensure the safe work of subcontractors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or a related discipline.
Background in preventive maintenance and mechanical-equipment maintenance management within cement plants or comparable facilities is considered an advantage.
Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage several projects at the same time.
A proactive approach to resolving issues.
Ability to work constructively and positively with internal and external stakeholders while representing the company’s interests.
A safety-focused mindset and ability to work effectively in a team.
Solid practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project.
Knowledge of MS Visio, AutoCAD (or other design software), and ERP software (SAP) is advantageous.
Fluency in Albanian and English, both spoken and written.
