Solaborate is seeking creative, dynamic, and self-starting candidates to join our team as Hardware Project Managers. You’ll work closely with our teams in Kosovo or China (multiple open positions) and contribute to a fast-growing, innovative company operating on a global scale in a cutting-edge technological environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead hardware projects from initiation to completion, managing costs, resources, and timelines.
- Collaborate with Procurement to ensure timely availability of components for integration.
- Research industry trends, emerging technologies, and monitor competitor activity.
- Provide project leadership across internal and external cross-functional teams.
- Own and drive all Project Management activities related to hardware initiatives.
- Maintain consistent leadership through tight deadlines, shifting priorities, and evolving operations typical of a progressive startup environment.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder coordination.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of project features: ideation, development, approval, manufacturing, release, analysis, and iteration.
- Document and track resources and dependencies throughout the program.
- Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Prepare project reports and presentations for stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain and update project schedules and documentation.
- Use user insights, data, and analytics to guide decision-making.
- Participate in stand-ups, planning sessions, demos, and retrospectives.
- Manage client relationships and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, Manufacturing, Fleet Operations, and Engineering to resolve roadblocks and streamline integration.
- Report project status to upper management.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in software/hardware development.
- 2+ years in project management (requirements creation, resource and project oversight).
- Proven ability to manage teams of 4–8 people.
- Experience with hardware development methodologies, manufacturing, and logistics.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and writing Epics, Features, PBIs, Tasks.
- Proficiency in product management tools.
- Strong understanding of User Acceptance Testing.
- Excellent written communication skills, especially via email.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
