Our client is a US-based home improvement product distribution company connecting products, distribution infrastructure, and established home improvement businesses across the United States.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for reaching out to home improvement companies across the US, introducing them to our client's program, and helping turn qualified prospects into new business partners. You will spend a significant part of your day speaking with business owners and decision-makers, using provided call lists, training, and sales materials to build relationships and generate new business.
Responsibilities
- Make a high volume of outbound calls to home improvement companies across the US using provided lead lists.
- Identify, engage, and qualify potential business partners that fit the target customer profile.
- Introduce the company’s program, explain its value, and identify potential partnership opportunities.
- Build rapport with business owners, understand their needs, and guide conversations toward the next step.
- Follow up consistently with interested prospects through phone, email, and other approved communication channels.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, including prospect information, call outcomes, follow-ups, and next steps.
- Manage qualified prospects through the sales pipeline and ensure opportunities continue moving forward.
- Handle common questions and objections professionally while identifying opportunities to advance the conversation.
- Schedule qualified prospects for follow-up conversations with the appropriate team members when needed.
