We are looking for a Document Integrity Specialist to join our Underwriting team. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying merchants' bank history information, reviewing contract documents, and comparing banking information to ensure accuracy. You will research and confirm signing authority, verify contracts to ensure accuracy of data, and ensure there is no fraudulent representation.

Work Hours: Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM

This role requires in-person attendance

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review contract documentation, banking statements, and supporting records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and legibility.
• Verify business information, ownership, organizational details, and authorized signatories through public records and proprietary databases, including U.S. federal court records, LexisNexis, and other research tools.
• Validate contract data to ensure all applicable legal entities, ownership information, and required documentation are accurate and complete.
• Conduct due diligence to identify potential fraud, misrepresentations, discrepancies, or other risk indicators.
• Screen businesses and their owners against applicable sanctions, watchlists, and other compliance databases, documenting and escalating potential matches or areas of concern as appropriate.
• Compile, analyze, and summarize due diligence findings to provide underwriters with accurate, relevant information that supports funding decisions.
• Accurately index, maintain, and store contracts and supporting documentation within designated deal folders and databases in a timely manner.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned that are reasonably related to the role.
