We are looking for a "Maintenance Team Lead" to lead maintenance activities across the Blue 2 photovoltaic plant, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and substation, helping ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations.
About the role
You will combine team leadership with hands-on technical work, planning and supervising preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting faults and minimizing production downtime. You will coordinate closely with the Head of O&M, whose review and approval are required for maintenance plans, major technical decisions and operational changes.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance across the photovoltaic plant, BESS and substation.
Inspect, test and troubleshoot inverters, medium-voltage stations, transformers, LV/MV panels, DC/AC systems, batteries, UPS and auxiliary equipment.
Inspect PV strings, cables, connectors, fuses and grounding systems, and perform electrical measurements and diagnostic tests.
Lead the maintenance team, assign priorities, monitor performance and support technical training and development.
Use SCADA and diagnostic tools to monitor equipment performance, identify faults and improve maintenance planning.
Ensure compliance with technical standards, manufacturer instructions and health, safety and environmental requirements.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports on plant availability, equipment condition, incidents and repairs.
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and internal teams, and propose improvements to equipment reliability and maintenance practices.
What we’re looking for
A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
Relevant experience in electrical maintenance within photovoltaic plants, energy infrastructure or industrial facilities.
Experience coordinating maintenance activities and supervising technical teams.
Strong knowledge of electrical equipment, fault diagnosis, testing and safe working procedures.
Familiarity with SCADA and maintenance documentation.
Strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience with BESS and substations would be an advantage.
