Role Overview
Who we are seeking
PECB is looking for a creative, detail-focused Video Editor to become part of its team. The position includes editing video materials, producing animations, and developing visually engaging designs for multimedia initiatives.
The opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Edit video materials.
- Cut video clips and arrange them into complete video sequences.
- Restructure and refine video material to maintain logical flow and seamless playback.
- Assess completed video edits to confirm alignment with the story outlined in various scripts.
- Review finished video content to ensure it reflects the Product Development Director's narrative.
- Integrate video footage with audio effects and soundtracks to achieve a dramatic impact.
- Create animations for video content.
- Carry out color correction for videos.
- Take part in video recording sessions.
- Prepare design briefs by collecting information and data through research.
- Generate original ideas and concepts through creative thinking.
- Apply innovative approaches to reshape design briefs while respecting cost and time limits.
- Support the overall brief with ideas and design artwork.
- Stay informed about emerging new-media technologies, especially design software such as After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Coordinate and oversee several projects at different stages of completion.
- Present and pitch ideas, briefs, and concepts to different stakeholders.
- Build an understanding of the intended audience and the market.
- Collaborate effectively in a cross-departmental team responsible for researching, developing, and launching new products.
- Turn objectives into creative strategies.
- Help deliver new initiatives.
- Complete other related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements
- A degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of relevant experience and/or education.
- Excellent English communication abilities, both written and spoken.
- 2+ years of professional background in video editing and graphic design.
- Mandatory knowledge of Adobe programs, including After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Mandatory proficiency with Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Competence in the macOS (Apple) operating system.
- Capacity to collaborate efficiently with individuals across different organizational levels.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure, quickly understand new ideas, think creatively, and follow up in a dynamic setting.
- Strong organization, time-management, and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present work from initial concept through final delivery.
- Willingness to learn, develop, challenge ideas, and contribute suggestions.
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-speed work setting.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Excellent spoken and written communication abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Close attention to detail.
- Flexibility in an evolving, fast-moving workplace.
- Openness to feedback and constructive criticism, with improvements made to tasks as requested.
- Working knowledge or previous experience in animation and motion graphics design is considered an advantage.
