We are seeking a Senior Reporting & Accounting Specialist to take responsibility for key finance and accounting activities, including month-end closing, financial reporting, intercompany reconciliations, SAP controlling activities, and business planning processes.

Contract Type: 1-year fixed-term contract for maternity leave cover.

Tasks

The role requires a strong understanding of accounting standards, structured financial processes, and cross-functional collaboration, while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting within a well-established finance environment.

• Lead and perform month-end closing activities, including accruals, provisions, reversals, and related financial adjustments
• Prepare, review, and ensure the delivery of accurate monthly financial reports
• Oversee intercompany invoices, reconciliations, and follow-up activities to ensure alignment
• Register, reconcile, and monitor bank statements and control balances in SAP
• Contribute to Business Planning and Forecast processes, working closely with relevant stakeholders and providing reliable financial input
• Perform controlling activities, including the review, analysis, and correction of interim accounts in SAP
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures, reporting standards, financial controls, and IFRS requirements
• Support and contribute to the audit of financial statements

Requirements

• Around 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and controlling, preferably in a structured international environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practical experience in applying them to daily finance operations
• Solid experience with month-end closing, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial adjustments
• Experience with SAP is required
• Good knowledge of IFRS, internal financial controls, and reporting requirements
• High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently within structured processes and deadlines
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
• Basic German language skills are considered an advantage
