LMC is recruiting a Staff/Senior Accountant for its office in Tirana, Albania. Responsibilities
Your key duties:
- Keep financial reports, accounting records, and general ledger accounts up to date.
- Prepare or supervise journal entries, financial analyses, and account reconciliations, while supporting monthly closing procedures.
- Arrange financial information and supporting documents for accounts payable and accounts receivable, and carry out internal audits.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts each month.
- Complete processing and reporting within the required deadlines.
- Answer requests for information, examine financial statements, and support audit work.
- Provide assistance to the accounting services department whenever required.
- Track Work in Progress so assignments are finished within the budgeted period.
Qualifications
Required and preferred qualifications:
- A Master's Degree focused on Accounting or Finance is required.
- ACCA/CPA is preferred.
- Candidates should have 1-5 years of professional accounting experience, depending on the position sought.
- Experience using QuickBooks is preferred.
- Well-developed numerical and analytical abilities are needed.
- Strong computer proficiency is required, particularly in MS Excel, including spreadsheet management, chart creation, and advanced formulas.
- Excellent analytical abilities are needed to handle substantial volumes of data.
- Candidates must communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
