Role Description
The Hydro Engineer (Inxhinier Hidro) will be responsible for designing, planning, and supervising hydro insulation and waterproofing systems for underground walls, foundations, and flat terraces. This full-time, on-site role in Tirana includes conducting site inspections, reviewing project drawings and calculations, and ensuring that hydro engineering solutions comply with Eurocode and local regulations. The role involves coordinating with structural engineers, architects, technicians, and contractors to select appropriate materials, define technical specifications, and resolve design or implementation issues. The Hydro Engineer will monitor construction progress, oversee quality control and testing of waterproofing works, and prepare technical documentation, reports, and as-built records. The position also includes contributing to continuous improvement of methods and technologies in hydro and thermo/hydro insulation within KONTAKT’s projects.
