Are you an experienced bookkeeper who likes owning the numbers across several companies? ISAL Tech is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our international Finance team in Tirana.

This is a hands-on role. You'll be in charge of bookkeeping for multiple international entities, keep financial records accurate and on time, support month-end closing and help improve our accounting processes as the Finance function grows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping activities for multiple companies/entities.
• Handle AP, AR, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure transactions are accurately recorded, classified, and supported by proper documentation.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
• Review balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies or outstanding items.
• Manage international vendors, cross-border transactions, and multi-currency accounting.
• Prepare reconciliations and supporting schedules for financial reporting.
• Work closely with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors.
• Review junior bookkeeping work when required and provide guidance.
• Identify process gaps and help improve accounting procedures, controls, and workflows.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience.
• Previous experience working in an international company is required.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience with month-end closing and account reconciliations.
• Experience managing multiple entities or a portfolio of companies is highly preferred.
• Experience with international vendors and multi-currency transactions.
• Experience working with external accountants and auditors.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Zoho, or similar accounting software is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to work independently.
