Intellectica is recruiting a passionate and client-focused Account Manager on behalf of the Albanian office of an international strategic communications, PR and public affairs agency. Established in Tirana in 2011, the local team has grown from an ambitious start-up into a dynamic, high-performing office trusted by some of the most recognisable international brands operating in Albania today, across sectors including aviation and travel, tourism, technology and digital services. The agency delivers the full spectrum of communications services locally, from strategic PR consulting and media relations to public affairs and reputation management, while benefiting from the expertise and support of a wider regional network.

The role is based in Tirana, with one day of remote work per week. Reporting directly to the General Manager, and supported by an Account Executive, the Account Manager will become the trusted, go-to person for the agency’s portfolio of international clients in Albania. The role carries ownership of these relationships, from day-to-day execution and project management to strategic counsel, with a particular focus on the agency’s long-standing accounts within the aviation, tourism and travel sectors.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

• Serve as a trusted communications advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives and providing strategic counsel that strengthens their reputation and market presence in Albania.
• Own and develop strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of international clients, acting as their primary point of contact and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
• Lead the development and implementation of integrated communication strategies and PR programmes, translating client objectives into impactful campaigns and initiatives.
• Manage end-to-end account delivery, ensuring projects are effectively planned, coordinated and executed within agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards.
• Drive media relations and visibility initiatives, identifying opportunities, shaping compelling narratives and securing meaningful engagement with relevant audiences.
• Develop and oversee the creation of communication materials, including press releases, key messages, media briefings, presentations and strategic reports.
• Provide market insights and proactive recommendations by monitoring industry trends, media developments and stakeholder dynamics, particularly across the aviation, tourism and travel sectors.
• Plan and coordinate communication activities, events and stakeholder engagement initiatives that support clients’ strategic priorities and business goals.
