Global VAT Compliance (GVC) is a prominent tax-compliance services provider headquartered in The Hague, The Netherlands. Through automation tools and specialist advice, the company helps clients meet their VAT requirements and operates across more than 90 countries. For its Tirana, Albania operations, GVC is seeking Junior Tax Associates.
Working hours: Flexible, with office-based or remote work from home options.

Established in 2010, GVC is a major provider of international VAT-compliance services. Its VAT Compliance offering includes:
- Preparing and filing VAT/GST returns together with associated declarations.
- Completing VAT/GST registrations.
- Providing fiscal representation.
- Offering VAT advisory services.
- Managing VAT payments.
- Supporting administrative requirements and audits.
Most clients operate in global online retail and digital-services markets. In addition to e-commerce businesses, GVC assists multichannel retailers that sell both online and through physical stores. The company delivers these services in over 90 countries worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyse information supplied by clients.
- Draft, check, and file VAT returns.
- Verify that VAT return calculations are correct and precise.
- Ensure every deadline is respected.
- Work on a weekly schedule of 09:00-17:00, Monday – Friday, with flexibility in working hours available.
Qualifications
- Interest in developing knowledge of international VAT, Tax Technology, and related areas.
- Readiness to learn, grow, and contribute within a rapidly expanding company.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to perform under tight deadlines.
- Initiative, interpersonal capabilities, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills and an interest in international business opportunities.
- Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Previous work experience is not required.
- Recent graduates or students pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree are strongly encouraged.
- Graduates holding: Bachelor Degree in Finance & Accountancy / Bachelor Degree in Tax / Bachelor Degree in Economic Information.
