About the Role:
For our office in Tirana, we are looking for a role that will play a pivotal part in supporting the Primary & Specialty Care Business Unit, specifically assisting the Medical Management team in various Medical Affairs activities.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Department, in compliance with ethical standards, professional ethics and law and the internal company procedures, in developing scientific projects (interventional clinical trials, observational studies and epidemiological studies, proposals for support of independent experimentations, collaboration with scientific societies, working groups, etc.) that favor the development and innovation of the assigned reference therapeutic area.
- Support the conduct of designed clinical activities in accordance with local regulations.
- According to Medical Affairs Director and Medical Manager, support realization of territorial scientific projects consistent with management strategies and corporate guidelines, aimed at improving the therapeutic appropriateness, proper placement of managed products and knowledge of pathologies of the assigned therapeutic areas.
- According to Medical Affairs Director and Medical Manager, prepare presentations and scientific insights.
- Support Medical Affairs Director and Medical Manager in the development of relations with the scientific community.
- Support in the generation of new data and publications in the assigned therapeutic areas.
- Support the Drug Safety & Regulatory Affairs from a scientific medical point of view.
- Support the Department in evaluating business scientific materials used that have to be consistent with the scientific evidence and the development of the assigned therapeutic areas.
- Support the Marketing in the preparation of promotional media, ensuring the correctness and ethics of their scientific information on the basis of the current regulations and in compliance with the set deadlines.
- Support the Department in scientific training to ensure proper and effective scientific information to the External Field Force, Corporate staff and Partners.
- Support the Medical Information Service for complex bibliographical research and the answering to medical representative’s questions.
- Participate, on the recommendation of the Medical Affairs Director, at scientific updates (conferences or events) by providing feedback on treated scientific themes.
- Be aware and act in compliance with the relevant law, ethics and regulations and corporate procedures of the reference area.
