Sales Development Representative
Job Summary
CData is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help start conversations with companies that need simple, reliable access to their data. You’ll be the first point of contact for many prospects. Your job is to research target accounts, reach out across email, phone and LinkedIn, qualify interest, and book meetings for our Account Executives. This role suits someone who is curious and resilient, likes learning about technology, and wants to build a career in B2B SaaS sales. You’ll get structured onboarding, ongoing coaching, and a clear view of how strong pipeline turns into revenue.
Why This Role Matters
At CData, the SDR team is where growth begins. Every customer relationship starts with a conversation, and you’ll be the one starting it. Your work will have a direct, visible impact:
You build the pipeline. The meetings you create become the opportunities our sales team works on and closes, so you’ll be a direct driver of company growth.
You’re the first voice of CData. How you engage prospects shapes how the market sees us, so you’ll set the tone for a trusted, long-term partnership.
You bring the market back to us. What you hear from prospects about their challenges, priorities and objections helps Sales, Marketing and Product sharpen our messaging and focus.
You help connect data and AI. Organizations are racing to put their data to work, including for AI. You’ll help them find out how CData connects their systems so they can move faster.
You grow with us. Our SDR role is a launchpad. Strong performers build the skills, product knowledge and track record to move into Account Executive and other go-to-market roles.
