About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position and is ideal for someone with at least two years of relevant experience who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and taking ownership of their work.
In this role, you will work directly with the business team to support day-to-day financial operations, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure operational processes run efficiently. You will collaborate closely with our Finance team in Albania while reporting directly to the business unit manager.
We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, isn't afraid to ask questions, and is always looking for better ways to improve processes and support the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily financial and operational tasks to ensure the smooth running of business operations.
- Prepare, reconcile, and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Monitor transactions and investigate discrepancies to ensure data accuracy.
- Support invoicing, payment tracking, expense management, and financial reconciliations.
- Maintain and update financial documentation and operational records.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required.
- Prepare reports using Excel and other internal tools to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments to improve financial workflows and
- operational efficiency.
- dentify process improvements and contribute to the implementation of more efficient financial procedures.
- Support compliance with internal policies and financial controls.
- Assist with ad hoc financial and operational projects as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Finance Operations, or a similar role.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- An Excel assessment will be part of the recruitment process.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable working with numbers and large datasets.
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Confident asking questions, seeking clarification, and challenging processes when appropriate.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Experience with ERP systems or accounting software is considered an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
